The Riverside Solar Power Station occupies a 40 hectare site outside Mutoko, Zimbabwe. The first stage of the development was the installation of 2.5MW of capacity on one quarter of the available land. This was completed in 2018.

The first stage incorporated a wide range and variety of technologies. Both mono and poly crystalline panels have been installed on both fixed and tracking frames. This solar PV Power Station was the first purpose built grid tied solar PV power station in Zimbabwe and was sited at Mutoko following collaboration between NRE and ZETDC.
